The only thing dry about this book is the ink!

Jackie grew up in East Belfast. Joining the navy to see the world, he became a sailor.
Six years later, he returned home and joined the Ulster Defence Regiment and he became a soldier.
Along the way, a dependence on alcohol took over. Jackie’s life spun out of control.
With nothing to live for and feeling suicidal, with life a meaningless mess, Jackie had hit rock bottom when God stepped in: challenging him, changing him and turning him around completely.
Settling down and still single, God led Jackie to Mandy, a woman who already had her own story of healing to tell. Soon they were married. Their baby was born many weeks premature. It was touch and go. Would he live? Or die?
This book tells Jackie and Mandy Dickey’s story as God in his grace guided them along the roller coaster of life. A catalogue of an ordinary couple who through faith had extraordinary experiences of God. A local pastor remarked:
“They should be in Hebrews Eleven”
Hebrews Eleven is not a Jewish hockey team, but is the Bible’s list of honour. It is a catalogue of ordinary men and women, who through faith, had extraordinary experiences of God, and achieved extraordinary things for God.
Jackie and Mandy Dickey are such people.
